Introduction
We built this personal heater to do one thing really well: give you serious warmth, right at your desk. No more heating the whole warehouse just to keep one person comfortable. It’s compact, it’s powerful, and it uses a shortwave halogen lamp to focus the heat exactly where you need it.
The Tech, Without the Fluff
Here’s the heart of it: this thing runs on 400V and pulls 2500W through a 300mm quartz tube. That power is intentional. It means the heat comes on fast and stays concentrated. And the 400V setup is smart—it keeps the current lower than a standard 230V unit would, which makes the wiring simpler and prevents the voltage from dropping off over longer runs.
Built to Take a Beating
The halogen element sits inside a quartz tube, coated to handle high temps and protect against sudden thermal shock. The R7s connector is a straight-up, drop-in fit. No messing with adapters. You wire it, clamp it, and it stays put. Even when your work area is getting hammered, this heater isn’t going anywhere.
What It Feels Like on the Job
On the shop floor, this is all about quick install and consistent performance. You get immediate, directional heat right at your station, so you stay cozy without wasting energy heating the entire bay. But here’s the thing—with that 2500W output, you need proper airflow and clearance. If you’re running it hard, the enclosure around it has to be ventilated. That keeps everything around it from getting too hot.
