Why Voltage Actually Matters
We build these for 110V, 480V, and 575V. But it’s not just about making them “fit.” Here’s the thing: higher voltage lets us hit those heavy wattage targets without shoving too much current through your wires. If you’re running a massive heating array, going with 480V or 575V means you can use thinner cables and you won’t have to worry about your power dropping off over a long run. And the speed? It’s incredible. These lamps hit their temp in seconds. If your parts are moving fast on a line, that’s exactly what you need.
The Trade-offs (The Honest Part)
Custom voltage isn’t magic; it requires a lot of precision. We use high-purity quartz and halogen gas fills so the filaments don’t just snap under the pressure. But a word of caution: when you push high wattage through a short tube, it getsintense. If you go for a high-voltage, high-wattage setup, please make sure your housing and cooling fans can handle it. If the heat builds up too much around those end caps, you’re going to fry your connectors. It’s a quick way to turn a great system into a paperweight.
