Depending on where your glass line is located, your electrical grid is probably different from the next guy’s. That’s why we don’t just sell “standard” lamps. We build them to fit your specific site—whether you’re running 110V, 480V, or 575V.
The Danger of a Mismatch
Here is the thing: if your voltage is off, your heater is toast. If you plug a 110V lamp into a 480V line, it’ll pop almost instantly. On the flip side, if you try to run a high-voltage lamp on a low-voltage circuit, you just won’t get enough heat. Your production line slows to a crawl, and suddenly you’re losing money. To fix this, we tweak the length and thickness of the tungsten filament. We make sure you hit your target wattage no matter what’s coming out of the wall. Plus, when you move up to 480V or 575V, you can push more power without needing massive, clunky cables in your control panels. Just a heads-up, though—high-wattage tubes put out a ton of heat in a very small space. Make sure your housing and fans can actually handle that extra warmth so you don’t overheat your gear.
Why the Material Matters
We use high-purity quartz glass because it lets the IR radiation through without fighting it. For glass heating, we go with short-wave radiation. It sinks into the material fast, which means you aren’t standing around waiting for your machines to warm up. We also offer a few different end-cap options. This keeps the seal tight and the electrical connection solid, so you don’t have to worry about annoying arcs at the terminals.

We design these to be simple drop-in replacements. Whether you’re fixing up an old oven or setting up a new PET blowing station, we match your current dimensions and connectors.
